railfreek / Cloudy WB setting colls off the bhirgt colors by adding blue to the photo, Flourescent light tends to have a green tint, so the Flourescent setting removes green by adding the warmer color of red. Sun setting adds orange. Basically; white balance adds three colors to a scene (red, blue, green) these three colors make up the entire spectrum of color our eyes can see. I'm not a pro at all, but I do use some skill when taking pics. I use a Nikon D300S and a a few good Nikor lenses
